Hampton police announce larceny arrest

Devon Eugene Bolton Jr., 21, of Hampton, was arrested by the Hampton Police Division at 11:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in the 200 block of West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton.

Bolton was charged with one count of grand larceny, one count of possession of burglary tools and one count of felony vandalism.

According to the Hampton Police Division, "Officers were dispatched to an alarm activation at K-Mart. Upon officers' arrival, they located a suspect attempting to flee from the rear of the business. The suspect was taken into custody without incident."
