The estate of Robert J. Dewey has listed for sale a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 503 Mount Stirling Circle in Langley View/Washington Gardens for $229,500.

The 1,930-square-foot house was built in 1969 in Langley View/ Washington Gardens. It is part of the Elizabeth Lake Estates subdivision. Dorothy Soter of William E. Wood and Associates Realtors is the listing agent.

Dewey was a director of education at Langley Air Force Base. He also served on the Hampton City School Board as both a member and chairman. He served in the Army during World War II and continued in the Army Reserve.

He passed away on Jan. 2, 2012.
